１．審査委員会 審査委員として書類審査委員と発表審査委員をおく．書類審査委員会は，審査開始時の領域代表， 副代表および，領域代表が委嘱する委員（４名）合計６名で構成し，領域代表が委員長となる．任期は２年とし，任期後２年間は再任できないものとする．次期の書類審査委員は，現書類審査委員会において 決定する．この際，領域３の主要キーワードを包含するように配慮する．書類審査委員は候補者の推薦は できない．発表審査委員は若干名とし領域代表が委嘱する．審査委員の氏名は学会に報告するが公表はしない． １．Review Committee There shall be two types of reviewers: Document Review Committee members and Presentation Review Committee members. The Document Review Committee shall consist of six members: the Division Representative, Deputy Representative at the start to the review period, and four additional members appointed by the Division Representative. The Division Representative shall serve as the Chair of the Committee. The term of office is two years, and reappointment is not allowed for the two years following term. Members of the next Document Review Committee shall be selected by the current committee. When selecting members, care should be taken to ensure that the committee collectively covers the primary keywords of the Division 3. Document Review Committee members are not permitted to nominate candidates. Presentation Review Committee members shall be appointed by the Division Representative. The names of the committee members shall be reported to the Physical Society of Japan but will not be made public. ２．公募方法 毎年度１回，秋季に開催される大会での口頭発表に対して公募する． 締め切りの1 ヶ月以上前に領域３ホームページに公募文を掲載する． ２．Call for Applications Applications are invited once per year for oral presentations to be given at the fall meeting of the Physical Society of Japan. The call for applications will posted on the Division 3 website at least one month prior to the application deadline. ３．応募資格 1) 当該大会で口頭発表を行うこと． 2) 上記の口頭発表に関連する研究に対して，物理学会で過去に１回以上の口頭またはポスター発表を行っていること． 3) 当該大会の学会発表時点で物理学会正会員のうちの大学院生または学生会員であること． ３．Eligibility 1) The applicant must give an oral presentation at the current meeting of the Physical Society of Japan. 2) The applicant must have given at least one prior oral or poster presentation at JPS meetings related to the topic of the current oral presentation. 3) As of the time of the presentation, the applicant must be a graduate student or student member who holds regular membership in the Physical Society of Japan. ４．応募方法 応募は自薦または推薦による. ４．Application Method Applications may be submitted either through self-nomination or by recommendation. ５．提出書類 1) 申請書（文書作成年月日，候補者氏名，会員番号，生年月日，所属・身分・所在地，連絡先（電話番号，電子メール），研究略歴，審査対象発表題目（和文および英文），その他必要事項） 2) 審査対象発表の概要の写し 3) 関連研究に対する過去の物理学会での発表の概要の写し（プログラム番号が入っているもの） 4) 推薦（または自薦）書（和文（600字以内）または英文（240Words以内）） 5) 当該発表の内容を補足する資料（研究の重要性やインパクトについて，候補者の貢献度を含めてＡ４用紙2ページ以内で説明する（和文または英文）．審査以外には使用しない．） 6) その他，参考となる資料（発表論文の写し等）（任意） ５．Required Documents 1) Application form: Date of document preparation, applicant's name, membership number, date of birth, affiliation, position, address, contact information (phone number, email), brief research background, title of the presentation subject to review, other required information. 2) Abstract of the current presentation. 3) Copies of abstracts of past JPS presentations related to the research (must include program number). 4) Letter of recommendation (or self-recommendation): In Japanese (up to 600 characters) or English (up to 240 words). 5) Supplementary materials: A document (within two A4 pages, in Japanese or English) explaining the significance and impact of the research, including the applicant's contribution. This material will be used solely for the purpose of review. 6) Other supporting materials (optional): Copies of related publication, etc. ６．審査の手続き 書類審査委員会は応募者が応募資格を満足していることを確認し応募書類の審査を行う．各応募者の 口頭発表に対し，発表審査委員のうちの２名が審査を行いその結果を領域代表に報告する． 審査は応募書類と学会発表のそれぞれを客観的に評価し，若手の優秀な発表の奨励および大会の 活性化の趣旨を考慮して行う．最終候補者の選定は書類審査委員会が発表審査の結果および 分野間のバランスを勘案して行う．合議制を原則とするが，投票によって決定することも可とする． 書類審査委員は，候補者選定作業において第三者から参考意見を聴取することができる． ６名以内の候補者を選定し，理事会に推薦する. ６．Review Procedure The Document Review Committee shall first confirm the applicant's eligibility and then review the submitted documents. For each applicant’s oral presentation, two Presentation Review Committee members will conduct the evaluation and report the results to the Division Representative. Both the submitted documents and the presentation shall be objectively evaluated, with consideration given to the purpose of encouraging excellent presentations by early-career researchers and vitalizing the meeting. The Document Review Committee will make the final candidate selection, taking into account the presentation review results and balance between research fields. Selection will be based on consensus in principle, but a vote may be conducted if necessary. The Review Committee may appoint external referees and request their opinions during the selection process. Up to six candidates will be selected and recommended to the JPS Board of Directors. ７．その他 本規定細則は，書類審査委員会の議を経て変更することができる．ただし，変更内容について， 理事会の承認を求めるとともに，インフォーマルミーティングで報告することとする． ７．Other These guidelines may be revised following deliberation by the Review Committee. Any revisions must be approved by the JPS Board of Directors and reported at the Informal Meeting. |
